Overview

Wrench Group is currently seeking a Regional Vice President, Finance to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Our Regional Vice President, Finance is responsible for overseeing all financial activities and strategies within a regional area of our overall company comprising of 3 of our partner businesses in Texas. This role requires a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in financial management, strategic planning, and leadership. The Regional Vice President, Finance plays a critical role in shaping the financial direction of our partner brands ensuring its financial health and sustainability.  This position reports to the Regional Vice President - Texas.

Responsibilities

What Will I Do?

  • Financial Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategy in alignment with over goals and objectives of the company and the affiliate partners.  Provide strategic guidance in partnership with the executive team.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling.  Monitor financial performance against target and provide insights to drive affiliate business decision making.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulatory requirements and transparency.  Communicate financial results to all stakeholders.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, tax laws, and other financial regulations.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate potential issues.
  • Financial Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the affiliate business finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and accountability to Wrench Group  expectations.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate and act as a liaison with affiliate business stakeholders and the Wrench Group Corporate Finance team to support financial needs and initiatives.

Qualifications

Do I have What it Takes?

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. 
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in accounting or financial management roles, with a progression to a leadership position. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) in the public sector is highly desired.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, financial modeling, and familiarity with financial reporting standards.  
    • Intacct, UKG
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to convey financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and manage a finance team, providing direction and support.
  • Integrity: High ethical standards and integrity in handling financial information.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business environments and priorities.
  • Strategic Thinking: Capability to contribute to the development and execution of the organization's financial strategy.
