Overview

Abacus is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst II to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Our account receivable specialists are responsible for data entry, collections, and month end reporting.     

 

The Business Systems Analyst II plays a vital role in the tactical execution and support of enterprise systems critical to residential services operations. This role focuses on platform support, process improvement, reporting, and user training for systems such as ServiceTitan, CRM/ERP platforms, and data reporting tools. 

This position collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement solutions, supports data integrity, and documents processes to enhance operational efficiency and system adoption. While this role does not include direct reports or lead system design, it plays a key part in ensuring smooth platform functionality and user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

What Will I Do?

    1. Platform Support & Administration
    • Manage configurations, access controls, and routine maintenance of key software systems (ServiceTitan, CRM/ERP, reporting tools). 
    • Perform system health checks, audits, updates, and support user access issues. 
    • Assist in troubleshooting and escalate infrastructure-related issues to IT as needed. 
    1. Process Improvement & Documentation
    • Translate business requirements into tactical workflows and process improvements within existing platforms. 
    • Document system processes, workflows, and user guides to support standardization and training efforts. 
    • Identify opportunities to improve system-supported processes in collaboration with stakeholders. 
    1. Reporting & Data Integrity Support
    • Support the generation of reports and dashboards for operational insight and decision-making. 
    • Assist with data validation, quality assurance, and maintenance of accurate records within platforms. 
    • Help enforce standardized data entry practices and prevent data duplication. 
    1. User Training & Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Provide training and support to users on platform functionality and best practices. 
    • Collaborate with business units to support adoption efforts and address system-related questions. 
    • Support cross-functional initiatives by contributing system expertise and assisting with implementation tasks. 

Qualifications

Do I Have What It Takes?

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field (preferred) 
    • 3-5 years of experience in systems administration, business applications, or data operations 
    • General understanding of data management best practices, including how to keep data accurate, consistent, and well-organized across systems  
    • Background in home services, field operations, or finance-driven environments (preferred) 
    • Collaborative mindset with ability to work effectively across teams. 
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to document processes clearly. 
    • Excellent communication skills with a focus on user support and training.
